Free 4th of July Coloring Pages

So I’ve been meaning to do 4th of July color pages for awhile and this week I looked up and realized the 4th was right around the corner again. I figured I better make some of these up and get them published for you guys right away so you’d have them for your Fourth activities.

I know sitting and coloring probably isn’t a normal part of the celebrations, but it should be! I can just imagine families sitting on blankets, eating snacks and waiting for fireworks to start . . . and COLORING!

Anyway, here they are - I made a bunch of them for you so hopefully there are at least a couple that scream “color me!” at you. Happy 4th of July all you American people ;)

LAND OF THE FREE Independence Day Coloring Page

This page has a bunch of colorable words and phrases related to Independence day

This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave. - Elmer Davis

I’ve lived the literal meaning of the ‘land of the free’ and ‘home of the brave.’ It’s not corny for me. I feel it in my heart. I feel it in my chest. Even at a ball game, when someone talks during the anthem or doesn’t take off his hat, it pisses me off. I’m not one to be quiet about it, either. - Chris Kyle

This page says “4th of July” - Independence, America, Freedom, Red White & Blue & Land of the free! I’m excited to color this one.

Stars & Stripes Fourth of July Coloring Sheet

The history of the American flag dates back to June 14, 1777, when the Continental Congress adopted a resolution to have a national flag. The first version of the flag featured thirteen stars representing the original thirteen colonies, arranged in a circle on a field of blue, and thirteen alternating red and white stripes. Over the years, as more states joined the Union, the design evolved to include more stars and stripes. The current flag has fifty stars, representing each state, and thirteen stripes to honor the original thirteen colonies. The American flag stands as a powerful symbol of freedom, unity, and resilience.

Let Freedom Ring 4th of July Coloring Page

The choice of red, white, and blue for the American flag is deeply rooted in historical and symbolic significance. These colors reflect the heritage of the United States and pay homage to its European origins. The flag's colors are reminiscent of the British Union Jack, symbolizing the early ties between the American colonies and their British roots.
